TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This is an informal English translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Hungarian version prevails.

2. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Szalon 2000 Kft. (the "Provider") through the mock-up.hu website and in its showroom: 3D scanning, ordering 3D printed figurines and requesting gift vouchers.
These Terms become part of the contract with the customer (the "Customer") by ticking the dedicated checkbox before submitting a booking or a gift voucher request. Data entered in the form can be corrected in the fields before submission; if you notice an error after submission, please let us know at info@mock-up.hu.
The language of the contract is Hungarian. The contract is not filed as a written document, but the Provider retains the electronic confirmation. The Provider may amend these Terms unilaterally; amendments take effect upon publication and do not affect orders already confirmed.
3. THE SERVICE
The Provider performs 3D scanning in its showroom and then produces a 3D printed figurine (portrait sculpture) based on the scan data. Figurines can be ordered of 1, 2 or 3 people, in sizes of 9, 12, 15, 18 and 21 cm. Subject to prior individual agreement (info@mock-up.hu), figurines of pets or objects can also be made; conditions and price are communicated individually.
The figurines are printed by the Provider's external printing partner.
Scanning takes place in the showroom at a pre-arranged time. The service is bespoke and partly handcrafted: colours, surface details and dimensions may differ slightly from the samples and the figurines shown on the website. Such differences do not constitute defective performance.
Very fine details (e.g. thin strands of hair, glasses arms, jewellery, loose clothing) are simplified due to the limits of the technology. At smaller sizes details are naturally less pronounced.
4. APPOINTMENTS
Appointments can be requested through the booking form on the website, by email or by phone. Submitting the online form is an appointment request and does not in itself conclude the contract for a figurine. The Provider sends an electronic appointment confirmation; the contract for the figurine is concluded in person at the showroom on the day of the scan.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–18:00, Saturday 10:00–14:00, closed on Sunday. Appointments can be booked from the next day and up to 90 days in advance.
Appointments can be rescheduled free of charge at least 48 hours before the scan, by email or phone. In case of later changes or no-show the Provider may offer a new time slot, but may refuse the service after repeated no-shows. No bookings are accepted on closing days (public holidays, holidays) published on the website.
Please arrive a few minutes early. In case of significant delay the reserved time cannot be guaranteed and a new appointment will be arranged.
Scanning a person under 18 requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian; children under 14 may only be scanned in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.
5. PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices shown on the website are in Hungarian forint and include VAT. The price depends on the number of people and the selected size; the price stated in the confirmation applies. Price changes do not affect confirmed orders.
Booking an appointment is free. Unless otherwise agreed, the full price of the ordered figurine is payable at the time of the scan. Payment is possible in the showroom by cash or bank card, or in advance by bank transfer. The Provider issues an electronic invoice to the email address provided.
In the event of an obvious pricing or data error the Provider is not obliged to perform at the incorrect price, but offers performance at the correct price, which the Customer may accept or decline.
6. PERFORMANCE, COLLECTION, DELIVERY
The figurine is completed within a maximum of 3 weeks from the scan; the exact collection date is communicated at the time of the scan. The Provider notifies the Customer by email or phone when the figurine is ready.
Finished figurines can be collected at the showroom free of charge during opening hours. Home delivery costs HUF 1,990 and is payable cash on delivery. Delivery is free for 18 cm and 21 cm figurines.
If the Customer fails to collect the figurine within 60 days of notification, the Provider sets a further collection deadline of at least 30 days in writing (by email). If this also passes without collection, the Provider may withdraw from the contract; in that case the price paid is retained as consideration for the custom work already performed.
Risk passes to the Customer upon collection or, for postal delivery, when the parcel is handed to the Customer or their designee. Please inspect the parcel on delivery and have the courier record any damage.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Under Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on contracts between consumers and businesses, the Customer as a consumer may withdraw from the online purchase of a gift voucher within 14 days without giving reasons, provided the voucher has not been redeemed.
3D scanning and the figurine produced from the scan data are goods made to the Customer's specification and clearly personalised, therefore under Section 29(1)(c) of the same decree the right of withdrawal does not apply to the finished figurine. Booking an appointment online is not yet an order for a figurine. On the day of the scan, at the showroom, the Customer orders the personalised figurine, expressly requests the commencement of performance and acknowledges that the order cannot be withdrawn after that. The appointment can be rescheduled under Section 4.
To withdraw, it is sufficient to send a clear statement (e.g. an email) to info@mock-up.hu before the 14-day period expires, including your name, the voucher ID and the purchase date. The Provider refunds the amount paid within 14 days of receiving the notice, using the original payment method, at no extra cost to the Customer.
8. GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be redeemed once, within a single order. If the order exceeds the voucher value, the difference is payable by the Customer; any remaining value cannot be reused and cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and redemption requires an appointment. After expiry the voucher cannot be used and its value is not refundable.
9. WARRANTY AND COMPLAINTS
In case of defective performance the Customer may exercise warranty rights under the Hungarian Civil Code: repair or replacement, failing that a price reduction, or withdrawal from the contract. Consumers may enforce warranty claims within two years of performance; a defect discovered within one year is presumed to have existed at the time of performance. For non-consumer customers the limit is one year. Please report defects promptly, within two months of discovery at the latest.
Deviations arising from the handcrafted nature of the figurine as described in Section 3 do not constitute defects. The warranty does not cover damage from improper use, dropping, heat or water exposure, or natural wear. The figurine is a decorative item, not a toy, and is not intended for children's play.
Complaints can be submitted at info@mock-up.hu, by phone at +36 30 278 9271 or in the showroom. The Provider investigates complaints and replies in writing within 30 days.
If the complaint is not resolved, the Customer may turn to:

- Consumer Protection Department of the Government Office of the Capital City Budapest

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND LIKENESS
The content of the website, the design of the figurines and the Mock-up name are the intellectual property of the Provider and may not be used without permission. Scan data is used to fulfil the order and is then kept for reorders for no longer than 1 year from the scan. At the Customer's request, the scan data is deleted once the figurine has been completed. Keeping scan data and using images of the completed figurine or scanning session for references or advertising are separate processing activities.
Images of the figurine or of the scanning session are published as references or in advertising only with the Customer's prior, explicit consent, which may be withdrawn at any time at info@mock-up.hu.
11. DATA PROTECTION
Detailed rules on the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy available on the website.
12. MISCELLANEOUS
The Provider is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control (e.g. power outage, equipment failure, natural events, official measures); in such cases a new appointment or deadline is agreed.
Matters not regulated herein are governed by Hungarian law, in particular Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code, Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce, Act CLV of 1997 on consumer protection and Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.).
